Vasanta College for Women (VCW), affiliated with Banaras Hindu University (BHU), boasts a highly qualified faculty, all holding PhD degrees, with many serving as professors. The college's principal is a professor of English. VCW operates on a semester basis, conducting exams twice a year, with two internal exams per term, making it four exams annually.
For the MA English program, the annual fee is Rs 12,000 for all categories. However, fees for practical subjects like Home Science and Music may be higher. BHU offers two types of seats: regular and paid. Students who secure a paid seat need to pay an additional Rs 10,000, making their total annual fee Rs 22,000.
Scholarships are available for students from reserved categories and those classified under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
