CMRIT'an

I applied for Bangalore's top universities like RV college, BMS college, MS Ramaiah college of engineering. But i couldn't be placed there because my CET score was not high enough. CMRIT was one of the best colleges i have known and the admission process was very easy. I didn't take admission on any quota. Right now CMRIT is placed 4th best in Bangalore's engineering colleges and one should have CET rank of atleast 10000 or more. Placements in the college is very good and teaching is upto the expectation.

The teachers are interactive, supportive and they are a good guide. But honestly, only a few teachers really care about us and just do their job as usual. The teacher's minimum qualification is PhD.

There is constant drive and workshops conducted in college where the importance of internship is notified and students often receive a mail about any available internship that one can apply. Companies like Dell, Hd, tata, Infosys, global offer internships to students.

From the 6th semester, all students who have more than 7.0 CGPA and cleared backlogs will be eligible in the college. The average package is around 3.5 lacks per annum and the highest salary offered is 29.5 lacks per annum. Around 90% of the students get placed and are all happy with their performance.

The college is very strict about the fee structure. For CET its 92000 per annum and COMEDK its 1.8 lks for ECE, Mechanical, EEE and 2.5 lks for CS and IS. Many scholarship portals will be available and be notified often to students for their benifits.

The campus is very vast, well maintained and clean. It has a huge canteen and the food tastes good. The library is very huge, calm and most of the books are available. Students can take advantage of using the systems provided in the library and free wifi is available. All classrooms are huge, benches are new and good, and has a projector with an ethernet cable for good internet connection. College gives a lot importance to co-curricular activities. Students must take active participation in sports, indoor or outdoor. There are many clubs in college and even reputed IEEE is in college.
