Life at Amaljyothi College

I did get admitted through a common entrance exam(KEAM). The admission process was relatively simple. The minimum mark for admission is 60% primarily for physics, chemistry, and mathematics. You are expected to pay a refundable deposit of one lakh prior to admission if you are a native while MRI students are supposed to pay around 3 lakhs for the seats given they have no official scores for the regional entrance exams.

The primary reason I chose Automobile engineering is due to my interest in that topic. The faculty ratio is around 1:10, so there is no shortage of help around. All faculties related to academics come with post-graduation or doctorates under their belts. Workshop tutors have a diploma in their specific subjects. Internal exams are held every 2 months while university exams come on a semester basis. Exams are pretty simple and completely depend on how you approach them.

We did a couple of internships at certain companies during our college life. Most of them were short-duration and unpaid. You get to do a mini project and major project during the curriculum, the latter of which will be accessed for final grades.

Our course is a bit limited when it comes to on-campus placements, but if you are IT-related, then your chances are of getting placed are high. There has been some proper assistance by the college, but with limited opportunities in our specific field, most of us find getting a high-paid job rather difficult.

The fee structure is slightly on the higher side compared to other colleges. Scholarships are awarded to childer who have scored high marks in their high school and common entrance exams. Financial assistance is available on notice and requires pre-release of loans from the submission of the acceptance letter.

Probably the best college is in the state with the most amount of facilities. You have got a great campus, around 64 acres of it, a nice library, and a food court. The annual fest has been great and no costs are spared on these.

Hostel facility is something I would rate just decent. There is no compromise on the facility side but it feels a bit strict, especially with the use of mobile phones and timings. The food is pretty good and is completely made with primary concerns to health. the surrounding is always kept clean and that's something you only see at this place.
