Remarks

Excellent academic and Research Facilities. Professors are very helpful. Campus full of natural beauty which will make you fall in love in the campus. Hostel facilities are very good get separate room for privacy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Master degree from IITG is worth it will give you a good idea about research also along with courses. Faculties are helpful they guide very well. There will be 4 semesters 2 for course work and 2 for research project. Exam schedules will be pre decided and it will be timely. If you are consistent it will easy to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement are very good but it is little bit low in master comparison to graduate students. Top dream companies visit the campus like google, Microsoft etc. 85% graduate students get placed but for master it is low.

Campus Life

It is one of the Indias beautiful campus full of natural beauty. Here you will get every book and journal access. Class room are well equipped with technology and easy to study. Here technical fest Alcharinga is organised at large level which is full of tech and fun. Various sports and other events are also organise at national level.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is very good in IITG. Students get single room with WiFi lan. Every hostels have canteen study room sports room and stationary shop. Various events also organised in the hostels also. Mess is inside the hostel.

Admission

Only National Exam GATE is required to get admission other than that noting is required. GATE exam conducted every year in feb. Getting good score will be easy if you are consistent.

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
