Remarks

Excellent facilities, very helpful and supportive, quality education provided by College, one of the best college in shivaji University, kolhapur. the only drawback is college located at outskirt area of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

Placement rate is very much appreciated for computer and IT branch, plus I been interested in computer science engineering, our college arranges various programs, workshops for computer science and technology, which help me to create interest in learning more about software technologies and computers.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement rate is around 3.5 lakh annual. And the highest was 7.5 lakh annual. Top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, wipro, cognizant, etc. Around 60% of students from overall branches got placed every year. CSE/IT branches having high placement rate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Like other engineering colleges fee structure for open quota is pretty much high. But, TFWS skim helps to various skilled and talented students for scholarship as well as students who belongs to minor categories also get benefited through reservation and scholarship fees.

Campus Life

Pioneer, EBULLIENZA are various national level events are organised by our colleges around February and March which are pretty much benefitted in placement aspect. Other than that walk with world is one of the best events organised by our college in past year's. college Perfect platform to developed career in sports and other extra curriculum.

There were no interviews, group discussions or written test for college unlike other colleges. I got admission through MHT-CET score and through cap round

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

An underrated college in kolhapur

I chose this college because the fees is very affordable and the return on investment is good. Placements are also fine and they are improving every year. I had 93 percentile in mhtcet and I had plenty of other options like dy Patil akurdi pune, sinhagad college pune etc. The admission process is by mhtcet and jee.
