Remarks

This college is Very Good in Chemical Engineering. Generally south colleges have one advantages that you have opportunity to develop your speaking skill (in English), their mother tounge and culture too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was very fantastic and Academics performance was an excellent. Most of Faculties were also polite, humble and helping nature. Some faculties were orthodox thinking but they are very few in numbers. Lots of opportunities will be waiting for new comers.

Internships Opportunities

I did research as well as industry internships by two ways sometimes college sent us and most of the time I usually applied offline to particular institutes or industries. College supported me a lot related to financial as well as technical issues.

Placement Experience

Campus placement chemical engineers in 2021 is about 80% and 10% goes for higher study. Due to covid this time Number of core companies visited around 10 but all were very good companies. If you are dedicated enough you will get whatever you want

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure depends on the your Annual Income some ranges are there, what can I as of now is max fee was 66000 and minimum was 1900. Regarding scholarship Kerala students have e-grantz in which they get everything free. For others college provide silver jubilee every year. Regarding campus placement it was excellent.

Campus Life

College life very was superb. I was threre in Lockdown also so enjoyed a lot like cooking, playing etc. When situation was normal we visited a lots of place. I was the Team leader of CHEM-E-CAR which is chemical Club. Infrastructure was more than average.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I was a hosteller. Rooms were average and facilities were very good. Regarding Hostel charges prices were very cheap. Overall If I want to say it was good. Now New hostels already build which has accomodation capacity of more than 7000.

Admission

No I did not face much. If you are not fluent with English or lacking little bit knowledge the no worrry everythigh you can change within 4 years. Always focus on the how to build motivation inside yourself. Be confident enough in interviews.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
