Remarks

After answering NEET And results were out There were rounds held for medical courses. Where students can choose whatever course is provided according to their score. After the selection, of course, there is payment for admission. After the payment is done the authority of the college gives a date for students to go under physical Health Checkup. After Checkup your admission is done. After all the counseling rounds the college gives a date for the joining of classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose optometry (B.OPT) The faculty teaching is generous and they interact with students. Faculty are mostly doctors. Teaching is done on PowerPoint presentations. After 3-4 months a semester exam which counts for internal assessment marks And final semester exam

Internship they post students in a different Government hospital, Optical outlets Students are sent to medical camps in rural areas After completion of the internship, a certificate is awarded to students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No college Fests Just some minor programs And plexus program . Books are available in Library for students ( Students need Library cards to take books home) . Lecture halls have Air-conditioners. White screen, projector, Wifi .There are many clubs art, sports, etc

I choose this college over other colleges beacause its year of establishment is 1852, but i found that year of establishment doesn't matter in MBBS as much we think. Admission process is too easy. Bachelor of optometry in Goa medical college

I wanted to try for armed forced medical college as I wanted to serve the army along with the medicine and other requirements but was not possible as I couldn't score much in neet and I had to settle for whatever I was getting and I was happy with it. If I had studied a boy more I would have been able to get into my dream college Me choosing smgnc was completely my choice as it was nearby and I could travel and be home on time and also manage my other activities and studies as well without loosing on the time I get to enjoy. I picked GMC over other colleges as it has a high patient load, good OPDs and excellent facilities. In vitro fertilisation is done for free and it's the oldest medical college in Asia.
