Remarks

Admission to this college is done by either ICAR or UPCATET. There are three kinds of seats: Free Seat (45K per year), Paid Seat (Extra 50K per Year), and NRI Quota (Extra 1 Lakh per year). For the free seat, you have to be under rank 600 if you're an unreserved general candidate. Paper is easy there's no difficulty level if you're preparing for NEET. I belong to the general quota. After the results, you've to do the choice filling on the website. Then for counseling you've to come to the college if you get that college. I got CSA Kanpur in the second round.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I couldn't make it for NEET. There are plenty of teachers for the same subject. Every teacher is a Ph.D. Holder. There are at least 3 teachers for the same subject. Students are classified in batches according to their ranks. My batch has 60 students. Teachers are well qualified hence teaching is great here but they are lazy.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In the 4th year, an internship by the college is given. You'll get 3000 for the internship. It is a 6 months internship where you've to go to the village by a program called RAAVE. Projects and tasks are related to dealing with the villagers and performing tasks related to Agriculture and farming and educating them as well.

Placement Experience

5

From semester 5th, students become eligible for campus placements. The average package is about 4 LPA but the highest package went 12 LPA last year. Those students which study get placements. The minimum criteria are 65% in every semester for being eligible for placement. After getting the degree I'll be doing an MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition Fees hike is rare but there's a hike in mess fees as the mess is arranged by private people. It gets revised in 3 years. The scholarship is given to those whose Guardian's income is below 2.5 Lakh per annum and the scholarship is credited directly to your bank account.

Campus Life

5

Annual fests are organized here. There's no specific cultural organization but you can perform if you are willing to. You've to be active for the same. There are no such sports or extracurricular activities but facilities are there. You can play, swim as well as make social groups

After the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and there are a lot of companies that come for placements and highest package is by IARI, New Delhi of 96 lakhs per annum and the average package is 10 lakhs per annum. A minimum of 90% of students got placements. My plan is for becoming a scientist after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course because I wanted to explore and contribute to the agricultural sector for better growth of the economy of India, for the people of our country whom we can help especially major concentration towards rural areas or villages. 10:8, Majorly every faculty has done their PhD from known respected universities. In fact we students are actually fortunate to get the opportunity to learn from our faculty members. They are actually very helpful and in our department, the teachers are sincere about giving notes and other information. Term exams were usually normal with the proper time. Truly the exams according to me were mediocre not too tough or not too easy so anyhow a student was required to study.

Placement Experience:

When the students come in the last semester which is the 8th semester then only they are eligible for campus placement. There are a number of companies that provide placements. I don't know about the package since I had not faced any interviews till now for the placements and about 40 to 50% of the students get placement. After completing my course if I get any good University for Masters then I will go for that and if not I will prefer to do a job.

Remarks:

The college is best for who want to complete the course in low amount of fee and the education is best at the cost. The university is small compared to other universities but it gives students advantage of gaining focus of teachers due to low number of students.

In truth there are not any bad remarks for college by myself ..it fulfills all requirements of students to complete their studies easily. Only a weak point of college is not the availability of girls hostel ..hope it will come soon there are many advantages of getting a degree in this college like disciplined environment, regular classes, hostel facility and most it is situated in prime location.
