Remarks

I applied for a fisheries course and got selected but since the college was in Kerala I didn't prefer it and then I applied to Amity University. No, I did not apply for any quota. The students who completed their 12th were eligible and they should have obtained a minimum of 45% overall and the students who had above 85% were selected directly without any interview and were given scholarship too for the 1st year only. The admission process was good. We were made to sit in a big auditorium where we were guided then there was one written test then after the written test we were called for PI round. PI round was also good, they will ask questions related to your 12th only.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I felt this was the rising scope. And agriculture is the only thing that will never come to an end. Faculties are very nice. Some teach you very perfectly. And the students are also in numerous number in our batch. Our batch has approx 198 students. All the faculties are Ph.D. And are very knowledgeable. Some give you lectures and make everything understand on the board. While some give lectures through presentations nd some faculties use both ways. Our odd semester exams occur in the month of October- November and Even semester exams occur in April - May month. Exams are somewhat difficult sometimes otherwise the thorough referring of notes is very helpful for passing the exams.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There was one internship that came from Skymet. And this was the only internship that came to date because after that the pandemic occurred and everything got in vain. Mainly the project and the outcome of the internship is that the students are made to get practical knowledge about the course.

Placement Experience

3.5

When the students come in the last semester which is the 8th semester then only they are eligible for campus placement. There are a number of companies that provide placements. I don't know about the package since I had not faced any interviews till now for the placements and about 40 to 50% of the students get placement. After completing my course if I get any good University for Masters then I will go for that and if not I will prefer to do a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2018, my 1st-year fees were 78,000 yearly. Each semester we had to pay 39,000. The 2nd-year fee was 82,000 yearly. Each semester we had to pay 41,000. The 3rd-year fee was 86,000 yearly. And each semester pay was 43,000. And last year is 92,000. Semester wise fee is 46,000. I didn't get any scholarship or any financial assistance or any job on campus.

Campus Life

4.5

Yes, there is an annual fest which mainly occurs in the month of September- October. The University has a central library where all the books are available. The central library also has computers which we can also access and overall the library is too good and many resources are available to the students. The classrooms are also quite big as in my class there are around 73 students and it also has many resources like projector so that the faculties can give presentations and the students also allowed to give presentations.

Interview Experience

4

There was no GD. Yes, there was an interview and the questions were asked from the 12th syllabus only and since I was a student applying for agriculture they mainly asked me Biology questions mainly plant-related. The process for admission was simple I had to fill one form and I had to give the form to the admission office then the next day I was called for the interview. There was 1 written test that included basic questions and then later there was a personal interview in which there were two faculties who asked basic 12th standard questions. I particularly did not prepare for these rounds but I was just confident and was thorough about my subjects.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
