Remarks

I applied to many colleges like DY Patil, Ramdeobaba college of engineering. But I couldn't get into the IT field in those colleges so I selected these colleges. I am under the OBC quota. Maximum marks for my collage were 95%ile in cet. The admission process was not that hard, many authorities counseled us when needed. It was a good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in programming languages and curious to learn these. Faculties are good and there is a ratio of 1:35 of faculty: students. Many of those are Ph.D. and teach in a good manner. Term exams were 2 times a sem and the difficulty level was a bit hard.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know about internships but many companies offer internships. Some of them are paid and some of them are for self-learning. Some of the companies take money for experience internships, but they are worth it.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year. Many companies visit our campus including TCS. The highest package in our college is 7.5 LPA. And average is of 4 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is more in CS/IT, around 80-85% but in other brands it less.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my college is less and they provide good facilities looking towards fees. As it is a government college, it is affordable. As I am from the IT field the average package or placement is 4 LPA.

Campus Life

The campus is around 50 acres, it has everything including a football court, basketball court, lawn tennis court, cricket ground, and a big separate hostel for boys and girls. They conduct many fests some of them are zenith, Pragya. I don't know about the Library as I have not visited there yet.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are good. But if more diverse number of companies are coming , then it would be more beneficial for students. Te average package you can expect is 4lpa . The most number of students getting placed companies are seclore and sogolytics.

COEP Technological University through my eyes.

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.
