‘Life at NIET is a great experience’

We have to appear for semester-wise exams. This is really helpful as we can study in parts, and the pressure is divided throughout the academic year. We have to appear for both practical and theoretical exams. This proves useful in testing our academic knowledge.

We have the option of choosing from the different degrees in Engineering, Pharmacy, Management and Computer Application. The different degrees on offer are BTech, BPharm, MPharm and MBA. Most of these courses are accredited by NAAC and NBA. The curriculum has been designed by the faculty members. We are also provided with industrial training and get to take part in live projects.

NIET has the record of having the highest number of placements in the region. Its career management cell is a great help to the students. The cell helps students to improve their knowledge in emerging technologies.

As an MTech student, I am sure that I will be able to secure the best job placements. NIET has connections with a lot of big companies like Nestle, JBM, Hyundai, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Kotak, ICICI Bank, Vodafone, Unilever and Cipla. This is the reason why NIET has been able to achieve the record of having the highest number of placements in the region. NIET has a decent fee structure. The programmes are designed in such a way that it ensures you get value for money. The various infrastructure facilities and the teaching tools all ensure that we have the best of the learning. The college makes every possible effort to provide us with the best of the learning modules.

Life on the NIET campus is one of the best that students can hope for. We spend a lot of our day on the WiFi-enabled campus spread over 13.9 acres. We also make use of the library with 3,200 journals. The students have access to computer labs with 1,500 systems. We would hang out regularly at the cafeteria, basketball court and the gym.

There are over 450 faculty members with more than 60 of them being PhD holders. Some of the teachers have a strong professional background. They give emphasis to critical thinking and leadership. We are fortunate to have such teachers as they are excellent mentors and provide guidance on different aspects.
