Remarks

I applied to so many colleges including nsit and iitd and nit Delhi but I did not go to these colleges because dtu is far better than these colleges in terms of some aspects like strictness, faculty so overall I found dtu better than nsit and iitd so I joined dtu although also placement of these colleges are somewhat similar even then I joined dtu because it is very close to my home. I had ews quota and I applied for that because my father's income is less than 8,00,000 (1,20,000) annually so I got ews quota and relaxation. For getting admission in this course we have to enroll in jac Delhi site and we have to enter our preference on the site, the age limit is around 17 to 24 maybe but not sure about the age limit. the admission process was quite easy we have to just wait until we get one of our preferences then we have to pay around 1 lakh to jac site to confirm our site then branch might upgrade in future rounds dependent on our rank in jee mains in the past year even spot round was online.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course computer science engineering because of its placement record and other great alumni support also which gives us some relaxation in the interview but some subjects in this course are not relevant to our branch, for example, analgo electronics which is not going to help us in our interview we have 8 batches of computer science student and in each batch, there are 72 students and 7 teachers per batch. Some faculty is highly qualified and some of our teachers are pursuing Ph.D. and MTech. the college conducts exams monthly we have 3 minor tests and 2 surprise tests in our curriculum in which best 2 and best 1 respectively will get consider the test is not difficult to pass as exams are online so it's not quite difficult.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

As compared to placements only a few students get internship only approx 45 % students got the on-campus internship. Some major companies that come for giving internships are Samsung, Amazon, and Microsoft. Roles offered by companies in the tech sector are junior developer, project manager, and data analytics.

Placement Experience

4

Very companies visit on our college for tech and non-tech placements both but non-tech opportunity is very low as compared to tech opportunity. Some major companies which visit our college are Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, and sprinkler, etc, and a lot. Almost 95 % of students of my branch got selection in companies and in a decent package. but in overall college approx 80 % students placed. I would like to do MBA after doing 2 years job in the private sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees of our college are quite high as compared to NIT and IIT. In spite of being government, college fees are approx 200000 which is very high and its policy of our college that in every year fees increased by some percent. But there are some scholarships for students who are not financially strong. There are 3 scholarships for students for fess concession one of them is for only reserved category students but the other 2 are for all students' whole family annually income comes in that range one is through e district and the second one is through college. For e district scholarship there are 3 categories which depend on annual income first category is 100% financial assistance this is for students who have NFS card and those students got 100% concession in tuition fees the second category is of 50 % and the third one is 25% and college scholarship have more or less same this type of criteria college provides very good placement opportunity almost 300 companies visit in college for hiring student.

Campus Life

3.5

Since I got admission in the college, not even a single fest happened online because of covid some fest happened online so I am not aware of any type of fest interval but engifest of DTU is very famous among college student and availability of book every book is not available in DTU only a few are available in the library but we can issue them for the whole semester so this is a very good thing. There are lots of extracurricular activities on campus but some are restricted because of covid. There are so many clubs and societies that handle my students one of them is defense x. In which seniors guide juniors for defense jobs.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
