Mechanical dept. in VIT

So I also optted for BITS and SRM.For Bits I found the fees to be high and for SRM,I found VIT is better.For the admission ourose first you need to fill the registration form fees for which is 1000 INR and there is a online exam in normal condition but due to pandemic they considered the board and JEE marks.So in VITEEE exam the level is bolow JEE.Aftert that you gave the exam you need to set a wishlist and for doing so that is sitting in counseling you need to pay 5000 as fees which is not refundable.

Mechanical is the couse which will never go off fashion.So in this you need to be very good and you must have practical knowledge. In VIT there are many experienced faculty who were having industrial background and now they are teaching the student. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:55. There are many exams like 6 exams which include 2 CAT and 1 FAT and 3 quizes.

So you can be offered for a project manager or one making posters or doing modeling and much more.So i was offered for making a project which can increase the efficiency for cars and much most of those internships are unpaid.

Students are allowed for placement from the 3rd year. Many companies like Ashok Leyland and Mahindra and many more. The highest package for mechanical is 210000 and average package is around 5 to 7 lakhs.90% of students get placed and rest student goes for masters or family business. You can also go outside for a master's with the help of your institute.

So the least fee is 200000 and the other depends on which phase are you like in phase2 the fees is 300000 and phase 3 the fees are 350000 and for phase 4 the fees are 400000.You get 100% sccholarship if you are state topper. And a scholarship of 75%, 50%, 25% are given for rank 1-50 and 50-100 and 100-1000 respectively.

Rivera is the cultural fest and Gravitas is the techno fest. Rivera takes place in February whereas gravitas takes place around Diwali. In Rivera many superstars come to perform in gravitas student makes projects and display them, its quite fun.So you get every instrument you need and every guidance and counseling. For sports, they have a team for every single sport they 2 Olympic sizes swimming pool with floodlights and a library with more than 200000 books and journals. Many clubs and chapters are there like E2PC, Kashirya, and many more.

So there are many rooms ranging from 100000 to 440000 for 1/2/3/4/6 bedded and AC/NON AC rooms. For mess, there are 3 messes which cost 50000 and 55000 and 65000 respectively for veg, Non-Veg and Special mess. The food is pretty good and they give you milk, eggs all the things you required. It is given 4 time. The process is online as per your CGPA so the topper gets a chance to choose.
