Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in Architecture. The staffs hold an M. Arch degree. There will be monthly external and weekly internal reviews. And 3 Internal Assessments before arriving at the final VIVA and Terminal Examinations.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees - 55,000 a year. For the management quota the first year alone the fee is 90,000 and for the rest of the years, the fee is the same as for the others. Architecture is a bit expensive course as there is always a need to buy materials for the study and take printouts of the drawings done.

Campus Life

There will be an annual symposium during the even semesters. And inter-college competitions were conducted. A quest will be held inviting the local school children in February. Books and references are very good in the library. The classrooms are large in the architecture department. The studios have drafting tables and plug points for laptops usage. Inter and Intra college sports competitions are held and students participate in them.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is quite big many rooms and dorms. Rooms with 4-bed configuration. There are regular meals. The meals are tasty and hygienic. Milk is available in the mornings and evenings. The hostel can be easily affordable and can be registered during college admission.

The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

I have applied for firstly SSN and write exam but i not able to get it. I get here through TNEA, it is a counselling condued by State government for engineering students. The process is based on physics , chemistry and biology marks they give rank and you get seat according to that, i get a college and course on my preference.
