In order to get eligible a student need to give IIT- JEE exam and get qualifying marks or above in it. College will provide a merit list with the minimum qualifying JEE score for admission in NIFTEM. My interest was always in food technology and this college was a way to learn more about it.

The course food technology is itself a unique courses. There are immense options in this field for research purposes. The campus has its own research projects . Many schemes for research has been initiated to encourage students . Food research as well as management courses are there in electives.

Yes ,our college provide internship to every student who opts for it.our internship programme is of 6 months in the 7 th semester. It is a compulsory course and a part of curriculum. A stipend of 7 to 10k is general and depends on student ability. Companies like Nestle, Britannia etc come for selecting students for internship.

Placement are doing well in our college. our 1st batch passed out this year and a 100% placement was there. Big companies in food sector came to campus for placement e.g Nestle, Cadbury, Haldiram's, tasty bites, etc. The package is mostly 4-6 lakh per annum on average.

Our college conducts many events time to time. Our college fest edesia is organised in April . Apart from college fest ,many cultural programme and technical fest is organised. Food fest is organised in food day. All events are interesting and fun. Others college come and participate in our events.for sports, separate events take place.

A feasible fee structure is in our campus. A detailed figure is difficult to give as the fee structure changes for each batch. A approximate 1,20,000 per semester is there for b.tech students. Scholarship programmes are there for meritorious students and in each semester scholarship is given to top students.

Our college respects students talent and provide scholarships to the students. Each semester scholarship is provided to the top three students .Apart from this small world schemes are available.

Hostel is compulsory is NIFTEM. The hostel fees is included in the semester fee. The room are shared rooms I.e 2 people in one room. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Mess food is available for students . Breakfast, lunch, dinner,snacks is provided to students .A separate mess fees is charged per month. 3000 rs per month is charged per student.

Exams are conducted twice in a semester. First mid-term and then at the end of the semester ( final exams).Labs are well equipped .They are interesting and not very hectic. Proper guidance is given in labs. A normal schedule for exam and labs is there . A daily study practice will give out good results.

Yes I have got admission in the college. The admission process is simple . Once you qualify the minimum merit marks of college ,you will get shortlisted for interview. A confirmation mail will be send to the student. In the interview process , your documents will be verified and the fees for the 1st semester will be deposited.

The faculty is highly educated ( mostly from IITs) .Many well known professors are there to teach us. Every subject has its specialised faculty. They are best in educating us in each subject . Especially food engineering and management are having the best faculty.
