Remarks
I choose NIT Surathkal as it is highly reputed college. Also it has 13th rank in NIRF ranking.The physics faculty present here is too good which made me to prefer this college over other colleges. To get this college you need to get a decent score in IIT Jam exam. Also the campus is too beautiful.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I'm highly interested in physics and also I want to go to higher studies. The faculty present here is Highly supportive and qualified. There are total 27 students in my batch and there are total 10 teachers in the department (5 experimental,5 theoretical)
Placement Experience
College has excellent placements, and internship opportunities. People in 3th sem onwards are eligible to apply for internship and 3th sem onwards can apply for placement also. But for M.Sc there are not that much companies available her,there are mainly coaching institutes which take MSc students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is approx 2 lakhs (for 2 years) and there is no stipend provided to M.Sc students. Also you can get a decent job if you need through campus placement as there are so many companies came here for recruitment.
Campus Life
There are many fest happened every year here. The cultural fest is called INCIDENT. This is actually one of the highlights of the college. There are other events like kite festivals, Onam celebration, Holi etc. There are many workshops open to all students held by different departments all through the year. There a number of clubs engaged in different activities. Also here in the central library you can get maximum amount of books you want.

You need to crack iit jam exam for taking admission in this college. After qualifying the exam you need to register in CCMN portal and after successful completion of all the rounds you will get the admission in this college.
