Remarks

IIT HYDERABAD has a very good infrastructure and has NIRF rank of 8 , overall world best colleges rank around 600-650 and having a very good research facilities when compared to other iits. IIT hyderabad deals lot of industrial projects which helps students in exploring the industrial knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

The professors are highly qualified and very knowledgeable and helps students in clearing the doubts not only regarding technical stuff but also in various other aspects. They were very patient during classes.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like intel, Goldman Sachs offered stipends to students of average about 75k- 1L per month as interns. And companies like honey well, oracle offered 50-60k per month as stipend for interns.

Placement Experience

Due to covid the placement session during the last semester was very unsatisfactory for core branches like civil, mechanical and chemical. The placements for IT sector is very good. Almost more than 100 students placed on day zero of placement session. Companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Qualcomm, Amazon, l&t, Oracle, oppo, intelligent, goldman Sachs offered very good packages for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is about 52k per semester for mtech students and more than 1.8L per semester for btech students. I received about 12.4k per month stipend from MHRD. I got placed in TATA STEEL after dealing collaborative project with them.

Campus Life

The life at IIT HYDERABAD is so good and chill there are many cultural clubs, technical clubs, entrepreneur cell, sports. And there is availability of library comprises of 2500 volumes of scholary materials, 37 technical newsletters. There is scope of participating inter college competition in cultural, technical and sports.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF IITHYDERABAD

I appiled for vit and emcept but main goal to join iit, no i dint get rejection in any colleges i got admission in every college but i didnt choose because of my dream college. In iits we get very good and merit people and we get more free time and time to study ourself and learn things by ourself. We have a lot fests at least for a month we enjoy a lot and we have a lot of resouces to get knowledge and good faculity. The only one eligiblity for our college is to write jee advancee and mains . First for mains more than 14 lakhs people write and in that 14 lakhs 2to 3 lakh people slected for advance. And 23 k people will select fot advance the cutoff will be like we should get 95% above for mains but we dont know for advance they change for every year.
