Remarks

My Textile Background, it's the only college in Asia dealing with Carpet Technology. Very good infrastructure. World class laboratory and testing facilities.Almost 100% placement records. Sports facilities and good culture activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed to provide the deep knowledge about carpet and textiles.And also all the related manufacturing processes involved in the Textile and Carpet Technology. Faculties are highly qualified professionals.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

After 7th semester, students are eligible for taking part in placement activities. Highest package was 9 lac per annum and the lowest was 1.8 lac per annum. On an average all the students get placement of around 2.4 lac per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

During my tenure the fees were around 80000 per year but later today i guess it will be around 120000 per year. I got Central Scholarship during my course. And also got placed during campus placement.

Vihangam is the official name of the college annual fest held every year on 1st November. Art and Craft exhibition is conducted on the yearly basis. Overall infrastructure of the college is healthy.Students have access to the indoor sports facilities and TV room inside the hostel.

Admission

No GD and PI for this course. Only you need to be JEE mains qualified. At our time it was for AIEEE rank holder. Vacant seats after the counselling are filled through the written examination at the college.

My College Journey

Placement Experience:

At the end of 4th semesters students will be eligible for placement Drive. University placement cell start training at the end of 2nd semester by taking Mock interview conducting mock placement Drive and many more so that when students sit in the On campus placement Drive they can grab placements according their skills and Courses. Approximately 80% students get placed in On campus placement Drive. Highest package is 18 Lpa and lowest is 2.5 Lpa. If I get my dream job I will take it otherwise I prepare for Government exams.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
