ABV-IIITM, Gwalior great college with lots for exposure & other opportunities

Pros - Great research work and opportunities provided boost me to take up this college for my masters. Also, research-oriented students could grab a lot from here.Cons - the only downside I could write up is placements for Master degree students isn't that much great but yet companies with quite a decent package do visit college and everyone is provided with same opportunity.

Reason for choosing - Keen interest to learn more about computer network and how data transfers alongwith other factors like maintaining cyber security, data redundancy, accuracy, power consumption, efficiency etcFor a batch of 12 we have different faculty for each subject, while for research paper & thesis writing, each faculty has 5 students under themEach & every faculty is either Dr. or Professor with PhD from renowned colleges. Each has it's own specific way and manner of teaching depending on how and what the subject demands. One needs to adapt it, while faculties are always helpful and available to retake concepts if unclear.2 mid-terms and one final end-sem exam in each semester (4 sem in total in M.Tech)

Placements opportunities are great. All kinds of companies visit the campus, giants like Amazon and mass recruiters too. For m.tech, from 3rd sem students become eligible for campus placements.Selection is done on the basis of written and technical roynds and in the the end interview rounds.To name few companies like Amazon, Dell R&D, Samsung, PWC, TCS etc have visited the college last year.Highest package went upto 39lpa and average is around 7lpa .For b.tech and integrated m.tech students around 99% is the placement record, while for m.tech it is 95%

Fee Structure is quite structured down accordingly and isn't much to pay for considering master degree and the financial aid provided by the govt.For master degree stipend is provided by MHRD as the institution is listed under Grade-AA college list over India.Campus jobs cover companies of all the types, like big giants and mass recruiters too.

Due to corona we haven't experienced campus life yet. All the classes are running online and we have visited out campus just once. So can't say much about it but yes as per our seniors, they always say- they used to have lot of fun and the campus sply is something to go for.

Admission was on the basis of GATE marks and AICTE councelling solely.For admission in other colleges like IITs one need to go for interviews beforehand.
