Remarks

I was not satisfied with my 12th class marks but i had my interest in pursuing BBA. I did some research and then decided to pursure BBA in CMR university Bangalore as it stands to be one of the best Universities in Bangalore. The admission process was all online i paid an amount of Rs. 1000 at the time of my admission. You can visit their official website for more details. To pursure BBA i required a minimum of 55% from a recognized board.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My decision to go with BBA was write as i got to learn so much about business and management from this course. The student : faculty ratio was 9:1. There were 36 teachers in total for my course. Each and every teacher was very polite and concentrated on individual student. There was weekly test too after every week and final exams took place at the end of semester which was not that difficult to pass for an average student.

Internships Opportunities

4

The recruitment cell offered internships to many students after semester 3. Internships were mainly paid and under sales and marketing for BBA students. I opted for an internship with amazon only with a stipend of Rs 10,000 after my internship i got placed in Amazon only with a package of 6.0 lakhs per annum. There was separate interviews for internship recruitment too.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements were offered mostly to the students with a good result. Leading companies visit the campus to recruit the deserving students. Companies like Amazon, ResourcePro, EY, State Street, Urban Ladder, Zest Money, Jaro Education visited college to recruite students. I got my job in Amazon as a marketing assistant manager just after my graduation with a package of 6.0 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is 6.5 lakhs per annum and the least offerd is 2.8 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees i paid was 1,25,000 per semester. Merit based scholarships were also there for Students who were good academically. Few of my friends got their scholarships for scoring good in 12th boards. Other than that there are many government aided student loans that one can opt for financial help. The highest package for BBA course is 4.5 lakhs and i got a job in Myntra as a marketing executive my starting salary was 30,000 and now it's 45,000 + incentives.

Campus Life

5

CMR university not only provides you great knowledge but also a cherishable campus life. There were multiple clubs and societies for us to join like dance, music , fashion , poetry and inter college competitions took place during fest season. Talking about infrastructure this University offers you a world class infrastructure with Maths and science labs for science students , computer lab, a big ground, clean classrooms, seminar halls, staff room for teachers and much more. There is also a departmental library with almost 2500+ books including novels, encyclopedias , journals, activity books, sports magazines and daily newspapers.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities included common rooms with indoor games like chess, caram board and cards. There is 24/7 supplyof water, and wifi. I also opted for laundry and room cleaning services which was Rs.6,000 per month added to the hostel fees. There was separate hostel for girls and boys. The food provided by mess was tasty and took care of nutritional values of a student too they provided as food for breakfast , lunch, snacks and dinner.

Admission

Yes there was one GD round taken at the time of my admission. In GD round there was a group of 10 students each and we were given a topic to discuss on so that they can see our communication skills and interactive powers. After getting selected in GD round. Personal interview was taken where common questions like why you want to join this University, what are your hobbies, where do you see yourself in 5 years and what career you want to opt for were asked.
