Remarks
It was nearest to my home so hostel fee was not needed, and travel cost was zero.It is a Govt college so admission fee and other fees are very low, and It is very reputed college, so campus recruitment was also good there. Though when I got admission, there was a trend of ragging, but now it stopped.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good. It allows us to learn so many things about Electrical Engineering. In industry, There is also a good amount of vacancy of Electrical Engineers. In our college, We had many good Faculties at the beginning of our session but now some of them were transferred to some other college.
Internships Opportunities
No. There is not any good opportunity of internship provided by our college. So we are unable to avail any internship in our college life. Though they help to arrange Industrial visit for students but in our case, because of lockdown it was not possible.
Placement Experience
There is good campus placement facility available in our college. Renowned companies like L&T, TATA and so many other companies recruits from our college. Almost 40% students of our college gets job from college campus placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I took admission, My admission Fee was total 3500Rs including college union fee and per semester 800Rs for 6 semesters. There is chance for poor and eligible students to take TFW scheme where they can only pay very low amount per semester. There is also chance to get free books for poor and eligible students and also a good library is available in college and each student can take up to 4 books per semester.There is also chance to get Swami Vivekananda scholarship for eligible students which is a good amount.
Campus Life
college campus is very good. It contains good lab instruments, hostels, cycle stand, Library, big playground, canteen. There was also a student union which is closed recently. Right now, the social life in college is very good. Not so much political affair or ragging. Teachers are very strict about this.
Hostel Facilities
I have travelled from my home, so hostel or other rented facility was not needed for me. But as much I know, Hostel facility is very good in our college. There 2 different hostels for girls and boys. There are also good houses available for rent in low cost where my friend use to live.
Admission
Yes, written test. You have to get a good rank in JEXPO exam which includes class 10 syllabus including Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The exam is only MCQ based and conducted on OMR sheet. The exam is not so hard to crack.
