I applied for MCA. Direct admission. There is also a scholarship for Direct admission on the basis of academic marks. The application fee was Rs. 500. The minimum eligible mark is 50% for applying to MCA. The counseling will be conduct by UPTU.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in coding and I want my career in the IT field that is why I am pursuing the master of computer application from ABES ENGINEERING COLLEGE. Faculty: Student ratio 1:6. Faculties are excellent in teaching and very supportive. they are highly qualified. The teachers always guide students for their projects, They always motivate and provide innovative ideas to the students. and insistence students to participate in extra curriculum activities. Hod's of every department arrange an internship for the students after finishing the semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee Structure for the MCA student in the first year is 1,30,200. And in the second year, it will be 5000 less because security money is not there. The hike in fee is nominal. There is a scholarship for Direct admission as per the merit. Very few students get internship opportunities but the placement scenario is quite good. Like every private college of West Bengal, here also you will get avg package of 3.5 LPA. The highest package offered till now is 15 LPA from Adobe and it was on-campus placement. Top recruiters: TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, PWC, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, Consultant, etc.
Campus Life
I haven't attended any offline classes so cannot tell you about the sports. But as I have been told by the seniors, I can assure you that the sports and extracurricular activities are average. The library is quite huge, so the unavailability of books won't be a problem. Some social clubs include Codechef ( for programming geeks) and LOK.
