Remarks

St Thomas college Autonomous is one of the most prestigious colleges in Thrissur. I'm got admission based on reservation. The students have to present their plus two mark list, sslc mark list and transfer certificate. The cutoff mark for admission is 96% which makes st Thomas an educational institution for sharp, quick-witted students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My enthusiasm for learning physics finally led me to one of the best colleges in Thrissur. From the first semester onwards I have gained intermediate essence of physics. There are about 12 Faculties in the physics department that is about 1 professor for about 3 students. The faculty members have completed PhD in physics. The span of a semester is about 6 months and the exams of the respective semester commence in the fifth month.

Placement Experience

The college has been successful in demonstrating their placements offers for each and every student. The placement cell becomes active from 5th sem onwards. About 68% of students, so far have achieved placements. Major corporate companies such as wipro, MRF, BYJUs, ZDF solutions, infosys, TCS and banks like federal bank and South Indian bank comes forwards in seeking excellent workers with lots of potential.

Fees and Financial Aid

In comparison to other colleges, st Thomas college has an affordable fees structure. A fee of Rs 1500 per semester and 3000 for students in the general category. There are lots of scholarships for bright students in this college as well as the same for students of reservation and minority.

In addition, the college also offers various clubs such as reading club, cooking club, fashion club, drama club, music club, and even more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum. The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships. The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes. The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

The placement of our collage are better as our collage has less student which gives a relax mindset to the mamangnment that not many people are left to place. In our collage gurls get placed in first year itself as the act of SYNERGY girls recruitment. For boys as well. Many good companies enroll in this collage.
