Remarks

I have applied to many of the engineering colleges. But I got government college so I gave preference to govt first. The admission process of our college was based on CET merit. Three cap rounds were held during admission. The admission process was very easy and quick.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in ENTC so I chose this course. The faculty of this course is very good and our HOD is also very nice to students. The faculty is highly qualified. Teaching is very good so I don't get any differing exams for passing.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 5132 per year

Internships Opportunities

Big companies like Infosys, TCS and others visit our college to offer campus placements. Companies offer good posts and large package to our students. Our college has arranged many projects for student's placement.

Placement Experience

From the 4th semester, students get eligible for campus placements. The placement percentage is very good. Companies like Infosys, TCS visit for placement. The highest package offered for our college students is 18 lakh per year. I am preparing for GATE and after clearing it I am taking admission to Postgraduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Due to government college, the fees are very less compared to other engineering colleges. Hostel fees are also less. I got an EBC scholarship as well as a Punjab Rao Deshmukh hostel scholarship. I am in 3rd year so I haven't got the job yet but in future, i will definitely get campus placement.

Campus Life

There is a big library of college with many books available. The classrooms are big and good. Every year college organizes the sports event named Combat. There are extracurricular activities like robocon, e-yantra. There are also social groups run by students like NSS, I2I, UBA.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are large. Every student gets a Table, chair, cot, cupboard. Rooms also have big galleries. Mess food also has a quality like home food. There is a merit list for hostel admission. Security guards are nice and the rector sir is very friendly.

Hostel Fee: INR 1050 per year

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
