Good but can be better

The syllabus is new to us but as we know and the history is proof that government affiliated syllabus is always out-dated and aren't real world applicable. The course, syllabus, curriculum and real world applications are far apart. The difficulty level is pretty much moderate, but the teaching level doesn't meet up, so the percentage of students failing at subjects like mechanics in the first year as considered from past is pretty high.

The campus placements are very low because the companies approaching the college are very less, because of the location as told by the TPO Officer. Most of the student are planning to opt master's degree after the bachelor's degree. The main factor of the college is placement ratio, and this college goes to least at this comparing topic.

The fee for different castes is different. As such I belong to OBC, NT which have 6515/-, for ST it is around 1000-2000/- and for open it 25000 and if they are applicable for ews then around 17000. The scholarship that we are introduced to is HPCL Scholarship in the first year.

As such no fests are conducted but there are combats which the main attractive part for the college students. Library has most of the books needed for the course completion and easy to access with library card. College has many clubs which are handled by students, the only thing that college provides is the working area. If one is enthusiastic and eager to learn then for them the campus is good place, otherwise it's boring. The infrastructure of the college is pretty much good and big enough to accomodate the different branches and clubs.

I was alloted to VPKBIET college at Baramati, which is considered one of the best colleges for engineering, but the issue for me was fees. The reason I opted for this government College was fees. I got alloted in spot round and the admission process was pretty much good but can be better. The authorities used to send the students to private cafes to fill up the college forms which were filled by other colleges in their own campus. The staff during the admission process is pretty cooperative, compared to other colleges.

Faculty is pretty decent and easy to approach. But the faculties are slightly egoistic and overrated, which affects the teaching and syllabus. Our syllabus for unit test wasn't even finished but the paper were conducted and the remaining syllabus was merely rushed through, so the exams were conducted as per time declared by university.

No, I didn't face any interviews or gd. There is only merit list for admission, i.e., CET and JEE scorecard. I think according to college level of admission and seeing the cutoff there is no need of all these rounds.

There are no such places to be visited at night. The college is in a village, so instead of nightout it blackout. There are dangers of wild animals recently wandering around the college, which puts the students lives at risk.
