Mohit Kumar's Review On Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University Of Science And Technology - [DCRUST], Sonepat

I attended JEE MAINS in 2020 on the basis that I got admission to DCRUST Murthal. I also applied for YMCA Faridabad but my parents advised me to take admission in DCRUST. I availing the quota of ex-servicemen ward.

I choose this course because my relatives explain about the courses from that I choose mechanical engineering and I am happy with my choice. The student ratio is not excellent but it is average. The members of the faculty are well educated and they fulfil all the requirements of the students. Exams are difficult.

I do not know more about this. All I know is in the seventh semester sometimes university offers you an internship and sometimes you have to go to the companies to get an internship. But I am sure you will get the internship that you want if you work hard in starting six semesters.

From the end of seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that visit the university for placements and a number of offers are made. One of them is TCS for computer and science engineering students. The other companies are HCL, Maruti Suzuki.

There are many programs at my university. I do not know about all programs fee structures. I know only the fee structure of B.Tech. The total fee per year is about 46000 and there are four years. In a year there are two semesters odd and even. The odd semester fee is 36000 and even semester fees are 9750. There are eight semesters in my program(four odd semesters and four even semesters). At present, I am not getting any scholarships.

There are different clubs in my university. All you need is to perform your best to get selected. The name of the groups are Robotics, RPG, NPG, SWAG. NPG and SWAG are the most reputated group of the college. NPG group is the bhangra group and SWAG can organize different programs, cultural activities held in the university. Also university provides different sports. There are well maintained two football grounds, a cricket ground, tennis court, badminton court, a gym, 400m track for running and swimming pool.

The registration process for hostel and affordability is very nice. I liked it. You have to go to the university portal and after that hostel Registration. You have to fill in your credentials. After that, they ask about the distance of your home to university, if the distance is less than 30 Kms then you will not get the hostel room. The facilities of the hostel are average, not good. Also, the hostel is more.
