Remarks

I am not sure if there is a quota process in our college but I didn't applied for any quota. I tried out many college's but as there are limited seats for BAF course and due to pandemic I was not able to go for any other college. So, finally I got admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to learn more in-depth about the accounting field so I have selected this course. The faculty of the college is kind of okay. Teachers have well-qualified degrees. Nowadays they explain the concepts through youtube videos and various quizzes.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 37000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first and second year 2020, 2021 batch the fees was around 37000. I really felt the Faculty should have been reduced the fees a little bit considering the ongoing situation. After the notine from the MU they had reduced the fees in the second year by around 1600.

Campus Life

Before the pandemic, we had great fest known as NIRVAAN. But now of course there is no such excitement. The cultural committee of the college does bring some amazing online events. Just in August, we had celebrated Friendship day which had some really exciting games.

Placement Experience:

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Mithibai College of Arts is Music to ears!!

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

Placement Experience:

Impeccable, amazing and unbelievable are the placements here. For B.Com which is as always a crowded college, making sure 60-70% students have placements through campus is a task not less than climbing everest. So definitely all I can say is our college has done so well that it is now the first choice college for commerce not just among Mumbaikars but overall as well.
