The admission process was quite easy. I was admitted in the general category but our college has many quotas like ews, sc, st, obs etc. So any student who is from quota can get admission in a better program than general category students. Admission criteria for our college are that students should have scored min 45% marks in 12th and should have cleared JEE Mains with a good score of more than 80% to get a good branch. For admission, we first have to go to HSTES online website and fill the application form to get admission to the state colleges of Haryana. There are two rounds of counselling and after that, if there are vacant seats then they are filled by university level counselling. In university level counselling low marls students can also get a chance to get into a good college as per the vacant seats left.

I choose this course as I am eager to learn about circuits, IC, more and more about technology. Faculty of our dept. is quite friendly and they are serious about studies so they teach us well and good. There are two sections of ECE and each section has around 70 students. Exams are done timely like end sem exams are after 2-3 months and are quite a different to pass and not that different.

Fees is very low as our university is a state govt. university. Our fees for the whole year is Rs 45400/- only. Hostel charges are diff. from college fees. Which is around Rs 30000/- year. There is TFW category if we take admission in that category we have to pay only around Rs 10k-20k/- as fees for whole year. If we top our sem tin our branch then we have to pay zero fees for next sem which is a quite good point.

There is a cultural fest named Rhythm which is conducted in Feb of every year. There is a technical fest named technova which is conducted in march of every year. Our library is a very big library with international codes of books like if here a book is at code 543/1 then in any other international library also it will be at code 543/1 which is a good point. There are almost every sports activities like badminton, cricket, football, tennis and there are seperate grounds made for all of them. There are many groups or societies run by students like LISOC (Literary Society), SUNSHINE (Event Management Society), SKA (Drama Society), GOONJ (Music Society), SWAG (Event society), REBEL (Dance Society).

Firstly there are 4 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels, There our two types of rooms in our hostels - 2 bed room and 3 bed room. So in our hostel rooms we get an almirah, a balcony, a small cupboard and a good space to store our valuables. For hostel we have to register online and pay fees online and after showing tha hostel warden the recipt of payment, application form, identity card and application form they alot us the room. Everything we want is in our campus only like foods, etc. In our hostel mess quality of food is very good and we get breakfast, lunch and dinner there.
