Remarks

I have applied for the Master's degree in Sree Vivekanda College, Kunnamkulam. The environment surrounds the campus is quite interesting and peaceful. Admission details: The enrollment to this college depends upon the allotment procedure of Calicut University. You can apply to this college at the time of online submission for the course through the Calicut university website. The seats in this course are merit one. Fees structure: The maximum fee for two years of M.A English course is 2900/ rs only. The fees structure for management seats will be more than the merit quota. Minimum marks and qualifications: The cutoff will be vary based on the competitors in each year. Graduate students or B.ed candidates consist of pass marks can apply for the M.A English course through an online website. The selection procedure depends on marks that the candidate got in previous studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen the M.A course to learn the advanced study of English literature. Also, I am more interested to know about English authors. The college provides faculty according to the number is students. There are more than five teachers are taking classes for twenty students. The classes are taken in the native language and also in English. So that, students can understand the context easily. The exams depend on the notification of Calicut University. There will not be a constant time for each exam. But, all exams will be completed after the end of two years. It is a little difficult to pass the exam. Because most of the questions contain more than ten marks. The examination result relies upon the talent of the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost for study in two years will be 2900/rs. It is a low-cost fee for merit seat candidates. The students enrolled in management seats have to pay more fees than the merit quota. Also, an E grant scholarship is available for all merit seat students. So that, they did not enter any fees for exams. The campus didn't provide any placements or job assistance. Candidates must find jobs through online portals. The college provides seminars and online classes for students during the pandemic time.

Campus Life

4.5

The various fest is conducted on the campus. Fest begins from fresher day to end at annual function. The Onam and Christmas celebration is a notable one. College libraries provide several books for students' reference. The classroom contains all facilities like a blackboard, computer, fan and single chair for each student. The women's group provides a voice for every girl. A separate resting room is given for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course MA History is very very traditional. As a student who learn this could only became a Lecture by the syllabus and curriculum. But the improvement in archealogy related pracrical sessions and multi-subject learning by blending it with more geography and politics could make the course more effective and also job securing.

they do offer placements for both ug and pg. But For Pg Structured palcements are limited. For Pg students, especially in commerce and management placement oppartunites are offered. Companies like Federal Bank, Deloitte mostly offered. Since we had no placements, iam focusing currently on content creation and writing, actively working with online media due to my creative interest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got to know more about the rules and regulations, and functionality of my country during the course. the course teaches the structure of Indian democracy, its functions etc. It digs deep into politics of the country making sure that when students graduate they have enough info to face reality with politics for india. we learned about constitutions and structure of many major countries. Exams were conducted not according to the rest of the students for us. we had late exams and hence late results and late graduation. difficulty level of exams if you study well enough you can crack it. its theory based degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. At some points, it needs revision. The subjects feel ancient. The teaching also need to be improved. The typical lecture method is very unhelpful. Instead they should introduce digital learning. Also the course lacks in-hand experience on the subject. Rather than the robotic manual learning there's no activity involved

Course curriculum is great and it helps us to prepare for the real world applications and also for the further academic pursuits.By the materials for the syllabus were most not available so it was so difficult for us to prepare for the exams and also the faculty face it so hard to teach us without proper materials. Also the face difficulty in the question level as we are forced to write the exams without proper materials. Our exams were not properly conducted they have published the exam date all of a sudden eventhough we studied semester wise they conducted exams yearly and 1&2 semester together it had us so hard to prepare for exams. Also our valuation was not properly done so only fews percentage of the students were only passed in the exams. The carelessness of the authorities spoiled life of many students like us.
