Course Curriculum Overview

Course of the masters in English course is much advanced with good quality. The course is well managed by the university guidelines. We have literature, English courses from various authors, prose etc. The course is very well developed. The exam structure is semester wise. Divided in 3 years with six semester.

Placement Experience

Placement are less with this course, jobs such as translators, customer services, content writers are available after this course. We have opportunity to go for UGC NET for assistant professor. College must work to bring more placement opportunities for our department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee of the M.A in English course is feasible to all students. Fee of the Masters in English course is about 22500 rupees. The fee of the course includes tution fee, cautious deposit, admission fee etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our Institute do not provide any type of scholarship. Student can avail scholarship facilities provided by the University. Student can even avail the facility of scholarship provided by State and Central Governments. Scholarship for sc/st, poor candidates, based on merit etc is provided to students. Loan facility is not provided by our college those who need can avail from various banks providing it.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities in our college is held for developing and finding the hidden talents of the students as well as the participation of them in these functions. Sports facilities are very good in our college, we have NCC, NSS, career guidance, spoken english, seminars, lectures, projects etc.

Admission

I applied for the single window admission process of the University and got this college according to marks in Bachelors course. I was given admission to this course after the merit list was prepared and interview at the college. My bachelor's degree was given much importance as I completed that in English.

Faculty

Our English departments faculties are good, there are total of 6 teachers in our department. The faculties have very good English at spoken and teaching level. They have much experience in teaching and completed higher degrees in English.

they do offer placements for both ug and pg. But For Pg Structured palcements are limited. For Pg students, especially in commerce and management placement oppartunites are offered. Since we had no placements, iam focusing currently on content creation and writing, actively working with online media due to my creative interest.

Course curriculum is good. At some points, it needs revision. The subjects feel ancient. The teaching also need to be improved. The typical lecture method is very unhelpful. Course curriculum is great and it helps us to prepare for the real world applications and also for the further academic pursuits.By the materials for the syllabus were most not available so it was so difficult for us to prepare for the exams and also the faculty face it so hard to teach us without proper materials.Also the face difficulty in the question level as we are forced to write the exams without proper materials.Our exams were not properly conducted they have published the exam date all of a sudden eventhough we studied semester wise they conducted exams yearly and 1&2 semester together it had us so hard to prepare for exams.Also our valuation was not properly done so only fews percentage of the students were only passed in the exams.The carelessness of the authorities spoiled life of many students like us.

Remarks:

In comparison to other colleges the exam system and academic system are going great. Exams are conducted on time. But the semester is 6 months and it has 3 exams (2 internal and 1 semester exam) the workload is heavy.
