Admission is done on the basis of counseling conducted by MPDTE as well as the cut-off decided by the institute. You must have passed the 12th exam (of 10 +2 system) from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as main subjects. A combined minimum of 45% marks in these subjects is necessary for admission. As per the admission policy for UG courses provided by the institute 90% of seats are for MP domicile candidates and 5% is reserved for All India and NRI candidates.

I chose to pursue Btech from Electronics & communication branch as it is one of the most versatile branches, you get to know about hardware as well as software. There are about 140 students in the ECE branch. The senior faculty is good and highly qualified in their subjects, but the guest faculty may not be as good as them. There are 2 midterms and 1 end-semester exam for each semester.

Students can join different societies/clubs like asper, E-cell to increase their skills.TDP Vista is also a company if you have excellent skills. Hackathons are also organized by the college. Internshala also plays an important role if you want to grab more.

Students are eligible for on-campus placements from 3rd year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, persistent,Amazon, Cognizant visits every year. The placement percentage is not that good. Only 60%-65% is the average placement percentage for few years. The average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum.

The fees is affordable for many students as it is a government (autonomous) college. The annual fees is 31,000 INR (included bus fees of Rs.7200). Various scholarships are available for students like Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana,Central sector scheme scholarships for poor and meritious students,post-matric scholarship etc. Financial assistance for education of the wards of cine/IOMC/LSDM workers. On campus jobs/opportunities are limited.You have to put efforts on your own to grab opportunities.

There are many annual and tech fest organized in our college.The library facility is good. E-library facility is also available for students which contains 25000+ e-books. Sports and extracurricular facilities are also present and social and cultural groups are also present. Insync is one of cultural society which has various sections like drama,music,dance,literary section.
