Remarks

The admission process is smooth as everything is through cap round. The admission criteria are based on MHCET and JEE Mains scores. In addition to exam score based minority candidate can avail quota for the minority.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen electrical engineering as it is one of the core branches. The college is a bit disciplined and strict. You may get school vibes from here:). Many faculties have done Ph.ds. The term exam was completed on time

Placement Experience

From semester 7 the students are eligible for sitting in placements. Infosys, TCS, prime metals, burns and McDonnell, torrent, Capgemini are some of the companies that came to our college. 50% of the students are placed and many even go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of studies is around 140000. You can avail of various scholarships one of which is a scholarship based on a brach wise merit list for that year. I got placed in TCS and I am really thankful for it.

Campus Life

There are 2 fests, each of 3days conducted in the college. The 1st is FACES which is held in Aug/Sept, and the 2nd is ETAMAX held in Feb/March. There is a library which is available to all the students, a digital library is also present. The classrooms of the new building are well lit and have a projector. The college has its own football team. There are various clubs based on branches as well as clubs related to art like the drama club and the music club. There are 2 magazine clubs as well.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Bookworms are welcome, engineers are not

The eligibility was cet and jee marks based only. The last round cutoff for this college in mechanical was around 80%ile in mhtcet. But it was higher than 95%ile in comps for general. The admission process was easy just bring a cheque and fill up few forms and give documents and done. I had choosen many other colleges over this i even got accepted in mit wpu and talen admission but i am a local mumbai person and i woshed to stay here so i gave up that admission. I also didnt get admission in the crce bandra due to only a small difference in the cutoff. And i had no idea about the ACAP rounds. I understood about acap and tried taking admission in vesit chembur in robotics but idk i changed my mind and stayed in fcrit because i thought i dont like coding at all and thus staying in core mechanical would help me sustain my engineering life....Read More
