My experience in civil engineering course

I have a walk through the different colleges situated in Lucknow like Bansal group of institutions and gcrg, Babu Banarasi Das, RR GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS and BNCET and SR group of institutions and many more and compare their placement record, infrastructure and education system and most important cost of the course and industry visit to the college and also lab and observe many things and at last, I have chosen this college this is the perfect college for me. I have availed OBC quota for admission because it concessions your fees and chances of getting a scholarship increase also. The admission criteria for this program is minimum 16year and maximum 27year old and have secured an overall 45% aggregate percentage mark in PCM class 12. You have to walk through different colleges as I have done during admission day I Gone through the counselling procedure but before counselling, I have visited the entire campus and verify facilities here and hostel and mess etc.

I choose this course because I want to be the creator of facilities to the public that's what civil engineering gives to me I have done research about this field previously during post-matric and my interest goes increases. The faculty to student ratio is 1:15 that's what I have observed on campus. Teachers are very helpful and they are well qualified from IITs and NITs and they share their experiences with us. The teaching methodology is very good because they teach all these things from basic to advance via example, practical and real application of concept that they taught us. The schedule of examination is predefined in annual activities and end semester exams are arranged by aktu University for us. This exam is not so difficult teachers give enough material to easily qualify these exams in chunks.

Various companies like L&T construction and Hindustan construction and ACC cement comes here forgive internship and some of the students also get selected for full time jobs during internship and many more regional companies hire civil engineering students on a contract basis and in last year about 85% of students got placement during campus drive in various companies. Many companies give internships with stipends of somewhat 10k per month and some students also do an internship with the PWD department to take various industry exposure.

The fees structure is you have to pay fees in part but half of the annual fees should pay before semester exams. I have applied for an up government scholarship and get a scholarship amount of 56k per year its form registration starts during September and last date is around November. Kindly make income and caste certificate for up scholarship form and you must come through counselling and your mobile no. Is linked with aadhar for scholarships form.

The annual fest is organised before Holi leave these are organised by the college authority anyone can participate in it. And tech fest organised after Diwali festival in which we have to show our mini project and attend a various seminar. There is a good and huge collection of books available here in the library and research papers and journals available and we have great opportunity to access the digital library provided by aktu to each student on email id . There is sports week it's not fixed but it's organised by college to keep students competitive and we'll fit. There is one Facebook group run by students to available information of college on it
