Likes
- The campus is quite big and lush green, with several canteens and other things.
- The faculty are hardworking and knowledgeable. Most of them have their master's or doctrate degree and the faculty make efforts for the students to understand the concepts.
Dislikes
- The classrooms don't have AC which is a big issue for the students during summers.
- The academic block is also small in which trhe classes are held
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curricvulum is decent , in the first year all the basic fundamentals of every subject is taugjht and from second year onwards there is more specialisation. The first year subjects include maths ,physics, fundamentals of mechanical engineering , fundamentals of electronics engineering, electrical engineering , pps and others.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are not good but according to the fees structure the placement is okayish with and average package of around 2.5 -3 LPA. The recruiters which come to college are TCS, infosys , adani , capegemini , Wipro,Cognizant,HCL etc
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees of my college is ?106000 and there is additonal examination fees (?7500) which is charged by AKTU every year. So the total fees for the four year program is around ?4,50,000. There is also scholarship available which is provided by UP government on the basis of annual income of the parents. The scholarship can range from ?40,000 for general category students to ?80000 fo sc/st students.
Campus Life
The campus life is good and the annual fest UTKARSH is held every year in the month of february and there are a lot of events taking place around the year. There is also a star night which is held on the ocassion of founder's day i.e.(31st march) in star night some famous personalities come and perform. There are also some active clubs in the college which includes fine arts club, literary club, robotics club,drama club and more ..
Admission
The admission in the college are done through AKTU couneling. The AKTU counseling accepts the jee scores and anybody getting a rank upto 10 lacs can get admission into the college. There is management quota also available in the college so overall I would rate that the admission process is simple and easy.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:25 The exam system is based on the parent university i.e. AKTU university, there are two semesters ,the odd sem exams are conducted in the month of feb and the even sem exams are conducted in the month of july.
Night Life
There are three cafetarias inside the campus which provide decent food and beverages , ther is also gym , a stadium, a basketballcourt and other. Outside campus there is big shopping mall in which the students can get most items of their need and can even chill there. There is also market nearby so everything is available
