As the VIT is a brand name and is famous for its education way, nourishing the student with all technology and every year passing out skilled engineers from the campus with the average package of 7.65 lac p.a and now talking about the admission procedure there is a single entry through VITEEE where you need to get a rank below 5k to secure admission in Vellore campus in Btech CSE. Now the minimum marks should be 60% in class 12th with a PCM aggregate of 60% ( P.C.M). After appearing in VITEEE the results will be announced and then after the results, the counselling takes place. Before the Covid pandemic, the counselling was organised in offline mode but now it is in online mode. In counselling, you will get the mail regarding this on registered mail id and then on the given date, the candidates have to select the course which is available and has a vacancy. There is no quota applicable in admission and everything is dependent on the VITEEE ranks the admission is categorized into 5 cate

As we know that the computer science branch has many job opportunities so everyone wants to be a part of a good institution and get placed in the dream or super dream companies. The faculties are highly qualified and are practical oriented. The faculties are very intelligent and helpful too. The student/faculty ratio is 17. Basically, most of the Professors are PhD holders and having more than 10+ years of experience which makes the class more interesting and they tell the concept in a very easy way so that everyone can understand it. The teaching method is excellent as the experienced teacher knows how to teach the subject most easily so that it is understandable easily by the students. There are practice exams, CAT-1, CAT-2 and FAT-1 exams every semester. 30% weightage of CAT-1 , 30% of CAT-2 and 40% of FAT-1 . CAT = Continous Assesement test and FAT = Final Assesement test . There is a relative grading system in the university. exams are difficult and not easy to score good marks

There are scholarships that score good rank in VITEEE have some percentage off on the fees and State and Central toppers will have their tuition fees waived off for all four years and two toppers from government schools rural areas will be awarded 100% tuition fee wavier with hostel and mess fees. VITEEE ranks from 1 - 50 , 75% tution fees off for 4 years. ranks 51 - 100 , 50 % tution fees off for 4 years.. ranks 101 - 1000 , 25% tution fees off for 4 years. now for normal admission fees there are 5 category .- category 1 fees - 1,98,000 for 1st year 3000 refundable and for2nd , 3rd , 4th year = 1,95,000 per year. category 2 fees - 250000 PA. category 3 = 305000 PA. cat 4-390000 PA. cat5 - 450000 PA. But the placements are very good with an average package of 745000 p.a & many got selected in supper dream companies like Amazon, Microsoft, 1-2 in Google and many dream companies and the placement is 100% and they have broken a record and registered in limca book for highest placement no.

Riviera is the biggest and main fest of VIT i.e is a cultural and sports fest of the university and organised in Feb month of the year. graVITas is the technical fest of VIT. all the books are available in the library and it is easily issuable by anyone because of more availability .. Daily newspaper in English is available in the library and all types of books are available. The classrooms are big and there is a good environment in the classes with proper cleanliness and not too crowded. There are many extracurricular activities take place in college which has seminars and other competition. there are many clubs related to sports from where anyone can go ahead for big tournaments. many clubs are there which has a big sponsor and these clubs are run by students and alumni also.
