I took JEE mains and got 82 marks. I tried to get admission in NIT's but the cutoff was very high there. Thus i started looking for best alternative college for Computer Science Engineering. I found Chitkara University to be best with placements and campus. So i opted to take admission here.

Course structure is great. It focuses more on research along with all the daily to day applications associated with the subject. Teachers too are very supportive and deliver lectures covering every part of course, thus enabling student to focus on research section too.

Yes, as i mentioned earlier, Chitkara University is great in terms of placements and providing internships to students. Many companies like Google, Dell, HCl, Amazon and more visit campus regularly and provide placements and internships.

Many cultural and technical events are held in the college every year. Recently the biggest theater fest was organised which was excellent from every aspect. A cultural fest was also organised in September at the Baddi campus which was also great. Many activities are organised in the fests like Treasure hunt, DJ night, Technical sessions, Speeches etc.

Fee is a feasible in contrast to the latest fee structure changes by Government of India for NIT's and IIT's. Fee for B.Tech all courses is 75k per month excluding the Transport fees and Hostel fees.Hostel fees is something close to 41 k per semester and transport fees are based on respective distances from University.

No, presently i don't know any kind of scholarship or loan facility provided by our university. Any kind of information related to it was not mentioned in information brochure, nor i confirmed these details from the university.

Campus life is great. Extracurricular activities are held day to day for all round development of student. There are separate grounds for Cricket, Football, Volleyball and indoor stadium for Badminton, Basket ball and other indoor games. Speech and debate competitions are also held at regular intervals.

Exams are taken on regular basis, after every month which sometimes proves hectic but they provide a great revision of the syllabus for the final exams. Labs are also held 2-3 times every week. No, it's not hectic overall as many free lectures are also given in the time table.

The information brochure was released as soon as the JEE Mains result was announced. The admission was critically based on JEE mains score and different dates were announced for counselling process based on Jee mains score. On first counselling day, all students who had submitted their admission forms with Jee mains score 80 and above were invited.

Faculty give their full while delivering the lectures and taking student's doubt at any time of the class. All the lecturers are well qualified and have deep knowledge of their respective fields. They are also very supportive. Student's can discuss any type of problem with them, whether personal or anything related to Study.
