Remarks

The admission process was very smooth and in a very good manner. For getting into Chitkara University, you need to score more than 60% on boards and appearance in JEE Mains. On my counselling day, a very humble person was there for my counselling. She asked me numerous questings about joining this particular course and about myself.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members are amazing. I chose this course because I am a very tech geek student and I want to indulge in the upcoming technologies. There is approx 1:50 faculty to student ratio. Most of the faculties have done their masters and PhD. All faculties are amazing. Exams are held at regular intervals of time of 1 month and it's not very difficult for the students who study properly.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 164000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A number of companies come for internships like wipro, bajaj and many more and they pay students a good stipend of 10K to 30K per month. You need to clear the test taken by the companies to get internships and if you do well in internships, the company may hire you for full time. And there are also many projects.

Placement Experience

Students from the 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. In chitkara, many companies come for placement like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, bajaj, patient bond etc. The highest package for our campus is 35LPA and the average package is around 8-10LPA. Around 90% of students get placed from the campus. Getting on campus placement is my one and only plan for now.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of my course is Rs 82,000/- per semester(6 months) and it is fixed and there is no hike policy. You can get some financial support like EMIs and study loans, and there are not many scholarships and there are plenty of job opportunities on campus as well as off campus.

Campus Life

The life at the campus is very amazing. I haven't gone to college because of the online study so I don't know about annual fests. There is a number of books available in the library which includes books from top authors. The classrooms are well furnished and fully airconditioned. There is a proper sportium available in the university which includes games like basketball, football, skating, badminton, table tennis, swimming pool etc. There are many clubs like ACM, toast Master, code chef, IEEE and many more.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
