Remarks
Currently, I am in DTU. but I had also applied for NSUT, AKTU, and IPU as my second preference. I choose DTU because I like the course curriculum of DTU from the very beginning and also the opportunities we get here. honestly, I do not avail of any quota, but there is a quota system in DTU. If anyone wants to avail for it they can surely do it. there is a cut-off system for all the branches whosesoever want to get admission to DTU. there is no such barrier regarding the age for admission. The admission process in the online process was very smooth and you can easily attend the councelling process from your home in online mode. there are several rounds in councelling and in each round, there is a new cut-off release for each and every branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because if I do this course I will definitely get many opportunities in the future and I can pursue whatever I want. also, college gives us many opportunities so that we can excel in our life. there are around 70 students in every class and 1 faculty of theory and 1 faculty for practicals is assigned to students for every subject. teachers are Ph.D. level qualified and are very much dedicated towards their work and also helps students in their research work. in each semester there are two exams, the first is mid sem and the second one ends sem. the difficulty in exams in above the medium level.
Internships Opportunities
there are many companies that provide internship opportunities to students in the 3rd year like google, sprinkler, Microsoft, codenation, and many more. they also provide an amazing stipend to students like sprinkler gives 2lakh and Microsoft provides 75 thousand to students. students from all the branches get opportunities to get the internship based on their skills.
Placement Experience
our college has a very good placement record so far. it came under the top ten colleges in India of engineering for giving on-campus placement. students are eligible from the 7th semester for campus placement. there are several companies which we called as tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, and apple come in our college and there are also many other companies which provide a lot of offers to students of computer science branchy as well as other branches too. around 80 to 85 percent of students get placed in different tech companies. I will definitely try to get an on-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is a little bit expensive to study in our college for BTech course. there is a hike in the fee every year. currently, it is around 2 lakh. but if you are a truly deserved candidate and belongs to an economic backward section you will definitely get scholarship either from dtu or e-district Delhi. there are two scholarships, one is DTU fee concession and e-district Delhi scholarship from Delhi government. If you are very much good at your studies, you will get opportunities to grab an internship and placement.
Campus Life
life at DTU is very much cool. There are many fests like engifest and yuvaan and there is a tech-fest known as Innova organized by our college. Engifest is the biggest fest of north-India which is conducted every year. you can easily get books from the library for the whole semester. you just need your id card to get books. our college has a very good culture of sports and extracurricular activities. they highly support it and encourage students to participate in events. our college had played with several iits and nits in pasts and also won several matches.
