Remarks

It is very good college with great facilities also with great staff. It has good balance of academics and social life. Also the campus area is small so easy accessible to all the resources. And also the surrounding area is very good with lot of food options available.The placement opportunities are great. Maximum number of students are placed. And also the college arranges guidance program which guides students for further career related opportunities. There are various clubs also for cultural activities.

They are great. The college has a startup hub where students can provide their ideas and also the staff is very particular about assignment review and help a lot with projects. The college also has internship drive.

Great placements. Many good opportunities. 80-90% students interested for placements get them with a really good package. Good companies like phonepay, ZS, Barclays, UBS, Siemens do visit the campus

It has scholarship opportunities.The fees for general category is approximately 1 lacs.As such there are no on campus job for financial assistance but there are internship opportunities which student can apply for.

The social life is good. There is 4-5 days college festival. Cultural clubs are also there for encouraging students. Various activities and workshops take place. Opportunities for student to express their ideas and innovation are also provided.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are totally worth it. Decent food but a very good room with shower and western toilets. Only 2 person in one room and strict intime is followed. The warden are good and also the college campus is ragging prohibited

Admission

I didn't participate in placement as I had to pursue masters. But as heard from other students.there are Group discussions and interview and test. Prepare it from various sites and take help from the seniors

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
