Remarks
My college, which is a government college, is ranked 23rd by NIRF. I took admission in this college because the placement here is excellent. Our department's top package is 11 LPA, and the cost structure is very cheap. Wipro, CISCO, Tata Motors, Accenture, and a number of other firms are among those taking part in the placement campaign. As a result of these factors, I changed my mind and enrolled at this college. To gain admission, I applied for it by filling out an application form with all of my information, including my personal information, academic history, and, most significantly, my CAT exam result. I was shortlisted for the next stage based on my CAT exam score and grades in undergraduate, 10th, and 12th grades. I then had an interview and received an offer letter for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our university operates on a semester structure, thus our MBA programme is divided into four semesters. Organizational behaviour, macroeconomics, management decision models, financial management, and management information systems are among the topics covered in the course curriculum. Aside from that, the most essential aspects of the course curriculum are the summer internship and the business study project. Aside from that, the most essential aspects of the course curriculum are the summer internship and business study project. Faculty members play an important part in this since they provide us with theoretical and laboratory expertise. They discuss their academic and professional experiences. Visiting professors also provide lectures and assist us in a variety of ways. We also receive pre-placement training.
Placement Experience
Our college, NITC, is well-known for placing students in top-tier companies with attractive compensation packages. So, among the top recruiters, I'll name a handful who came to visit our school last year. Wipro, CISCO, Amazon, Tata Motors, Morgan Stanley, IBM, Cognizant, Accenture, and a slew of other companies were among them. Furthermore, the greatest CTC to date is 11 LPA, with an average CTC of Rs. 7 lakh per annum. Our college has graduates working in marketing, IT/ITes, manufacturing, consulting, BFSI, FMCG, and other fields. Furthermore, after completing my MBA degree, I have opted to work for a company first, and subsequently create my own business.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My college's entire MBA programme price is 1.6 lakhs, and I paid 40 thousand for each semester which is quite reasonable compared to other institutes. In addition, our college offers scholarships to SC, ST, and other minority students from Kerala and other states based on merit and financial need. Our college, on the other hand, has established specific requirements for them to meet. So, their family's yearly income must be less than 2.5 lakhs, and they must have received at least 50 percent in undergraduate studies. Now, because I am from the unreserved category, I did not meet the qualifying criteria and so was not eligible for the scholarship.
Campus Life
Because my college's campus is so nice, it's safe to assume that living here will be fantastic. There are several amenities available, including a library with a large selection of books, journals, periodicals, research papers, case studies, and other study materials, multi-cuisine canteens, a sports complex with both indoor and outdoor games, WiFi access, and other amenities. There are several events held, including the business quiz competition Paritah, the photography competition 'Vidyut,' the marketing event Mantra, the treasure search Dhanaadhikrith, and many others. And, as a result of all of these often held activities, my campus life is vibrant and exciting.
Admission
The group discussion topic was 'Healthcare System,' and we had to give a few words as well as the key elements from Budget 2020. The total time allotted was 20 minutes. During that round, I was chosen for the PI round based on my perspective and response, and there were panellists who answered one-by-one questions on my prior academics, job experience, and engagement in extracurricular activities.
