About Amrita in Online Time

I applied for PSG, KCT, and Amrita in Coimbatore but I felt Amrita is far better than others academically. I didn't avail any quota for admission in Amrita. Students with 50% aggregate marks in each subject in their board exam can definitely apply for Amrita. My Batch admission process was totally online due to Covid-19 Pandemic, but it was good and got good response from the management side. It is compulsory to attend AEEE Exam in the campus and the results of it will be considered along with your given cutoff of Higher secondary or JEE. Once the results published counseling will be conducted in the priority basis, student with high rank can choose whatever course he/she likes and along with the fees category they afford and if any student higher than your rank with the same course chosen quits luckily you will have that one.

I chose Btech CSE because it has a great value and personally I love Computer Science. In Amrita faculty student ratio is good for each section and subject more than 4 faculties can be seen. Most of the Faculties are PHD graduate and have great knowledge about their subject and their method of teaching is very interactive and interesting. Actually, due to Covid-19 Pandemic, we had a lag in our 1st year beginning so the 1st sem and 2nd Sem exams were so quick but faculties helped us a lot to overcome it and made each and everyone to pass the exams successfully. It was bit difficult to make it.

Companies like Cisco, Honeywell, Intel and many more companies offer a very good internships and projects on your own on your major for good outcomes will be given. Through online many Internship offered to the students from home itself for safe and good experience of learning.

From 7th sem students are eligible for Placements and along with a project. Most of the companies visited and many famous companies like Google, Microsoft, Cisco, etc have visited and made many offers where many students where placed successfully. The highest package is 45L per annum and average 20L per annum and 90 percentage of students getting placements every year. I'm planning to do PG in Cybersecurity after completing my degree in UG.

Fees structure depends upon the rank you score in the admission process and it also depends upon how u maintain it by your each and every sem exam results. The minimum cost is 1L and the maximum is 3L per year. Due to this Pandemic, I'm attending the classes in Online so I didn't attend any internships but as per my friendly seniors all types of scholarships are good and foreign exchange programs are very helpful for their skill development and many got good placements like good companies like Google, Microsoft, etc.

Even though the classes are online, many events and fests are being conducted online successfully. Physical Library in the campus is a very huge one with lots and lots of books of all types but unfortunately due to this pandemic we couldn't able to access but for that too University had made an awesome replacement with E-library in their official Website where students access the vast e-library through their college mail I'd which is really a great one. Most importantly there are lots of clubs which ran by students for many years successfully. Many club events will be conducted often like recently there was a Tamil Siragu club's event. There are many clubs like Shristi for Writers and poets, Club for good Programmers, and a lot more.
