Remarks

I applied for two colleges for BSc (chem) my first choice was Marwari college and I luckily get a seat in this college. Admission criteria were too simple you just have to fill online form from the chancellor portal website you can fill the form of any college of Jharkhand government colleges from this website the cost of the form was 500rs and my name came out after 2nd list then we have to pay the online admission fee of 2900 rs and documents verification was after two months due to covid.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because I was not too good at chemistry and I wanted to improve in this subject I wanted to study further in this course and I am very interested in this field. There is a good faculty as far I have known till now we have only online classes due to covid because we got admission in 2020 and we haven't attended a single offline class. For qualifying in next sem, you have to pass in all subjects teaching methods is good in till now we can understand but in online classes, there are some difficulties. After every six months, we have sem exams and between these, there are monthly exams also but due to covid difficulties of passing exams are not too difficult as we have to give it online and not too hard questions are given to us.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Till now I am not eligible because I am 1st year student and I don't know much about this but there are some companies which give offers to students who have completed their studies. I am trying to getting information about placements there are companies like TCS, nimbus etc.

Placement Experience

2.5

I think in the 5th sem but I dont know much about that but I am getting this information soon. My plans after getting a degree are to look forward to many sectors in which I am eligible to compete that more likely in government sectors.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year you have to pay fees of rs 4000 I am 1st year student till now so I don know much about the hike in fees. There is a state scholarship programme namely ekalyan scholarship every year for obc/sc/st students in which they get they get the money equal to thier fees.

Campus Life

3

Till now I haven't been to college for studies or functions due to covid but I have heard about that there are too many functions celebrated like annual day religious programmes and independence day republic day birsa Munda Jayanti etc. Sports are also an important part of students in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.
