Remarks :

I applied at CET, trivandrum and reason for not attending is that they are only concerned about academic standards not for creativity. MGM admits based on class 12 marks and there will be cut off mark for every subject. I was admitted by qualifying KEAM entrance examination.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I love programming and there is a huge scope for placements. Faculty:student ratio is 1:20. Teaching method here is impressive as it makes me think myself and reach conclusions. There's 2 term exam for each semester and its easy to pass

Internships Opportunities :

I applied thruogh internshala. There they offers internships with a stipend of INR 10000 and many exciting rewards too. I was offered a permanent job as software engineer too with amazing stipend. They provide online certifications too.

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year students become eligible for placements. There is a percentage of 85 for getting placements. I haven't completed my 1st year so haven't had the chance to meet companies with great offers. My plan is to become a great software engineer.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees per year was 25000 for me as I am a KEAM qualified student. Applied for MOMA scholarship. I didn't applied for any job yet. But I would like to do internship program during my second year. There were no financial assistance for me.

Campus Life :

Artemiz_2k21 was a tech fest conducted on July of 2021. There are books in library that are suggested by faculties for reference. There are basic amenities in classrooms. Sports and arts are usually conducted offline but this year these were conducted online following regulations of COVID-19. NSS is a group for students for active social services.

Interview Experience :

There was a group discussion conducted by the faculty members and they asked me about my previous academic results and entrance examination score. Criteria for admission is basically by checking whether the student is eligible for admission based on academic standards. I personally didn't prepared that much for this interview as they asked me general questions.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
