Rourkela Institute of technology an established college in Rourkela

I applied for Ugie college first and S.K Polytechnic at second and Rourkela institute of technology at third but as per my low rank I got in Rourkela institute of technology. The admission criteria are to complete the 10th board with minimum marks of 40% and the minimum age is 15. The admission process was first we have to prepare for the Diploma entrance test for our rank then as per rank we have to select the desired college and lock our choice in counseling day then admission was done.

I choose electrical engineering because I was good in electrical things and have a base idea about electrical engineering chapters. Qualification of the teachers are very good and teaching method was also good here. The semester exams are held every 6 months of interval and it's hard to pass in the exams.

I got a job in the Patanjali manufacturing division under the Workshop Manager post with a 12000 per month of stipend. There are also students who got placements in Honda showroom and Bhusan Steel under Operations manager post and Chief Engineer post.

From 5th semester students will be eligible to seat in the campus and we have to score 70% minimum to seat in any campus placements. Ther are companies like bhusan steel, Tata motors and Honda visited our college. The highest package offered to me was 2.8 lakh per annum and average package offered to me was 2.1 lakh per annum There are 60% of students who got placements from our course.

There is no price hike policy here and the cost of study is in higher side as it is a private college the cost was very high as compared to government college. I got job in patanjali factory as workshop manager post in my second sitting in campus with a stipend of 12000 per month.

The library was the best and peaceful place here to study and every book available in t as per our requirements. There are very few sports present in our college like football, cricket, volleyball, badminton tournament takes place in every winters.
