I had applied to more than 5 colleges. As CMRIT was my top preference due to its placements, reviews from others and the location I just went for it. Now coming to the admission procedure, I got into the college through KCET ranking. The criteria of admission for the program electrical and electronics is engineering is, min marks in the 12th boards should be 60% and should have attended entrance exams like KCET, COMEDK. As of I know the cutoff for the EEE program through KCET is 50k ranking.

As I am from the electronics branch from the 12th and also due to high interest in the same, I opted for EEE. CMRIT provides a highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty for the best teaching. The faculty is very friendly and communicative towards their students. Coming to the term exams, CMRIT is affiliated with VTU Belgavi. We have 3 internal assessment tests and the final term exam. The difficulty range of the exams would be medium.

CMRIT has a separate internship cell where the purpose of this cell is to assist the students in finding national and international internships and process students applications for internships in the government sector. The cell also initiates in arranging visits to explore intern departmental internship opportunities.

Students pursuing the 7th sem are also eligible for placements. companies like and pad, canbright, spacegrab, Eurofins,practo, SAP labs, TLS, DELL technologies, OpenText and many more companies recruit students from the campus. The average salary package is 4LPA - 7LPA.

The total college fees for students(GM) entering through KCET would be 96K per year and for students entering through COMEDK would be around 1.5L per year. CMRIT provides students with scholarships based on their merit.

CMRIT conducts many hackathons where students can show up their innovative ideas and skills and also improve their knowledge and also many tech events are conducted. Also, there are many clubs where students can join and discuss topics. CMRIT has a pretty big infrastructure where the students are provided with many facilities, mainly a library. The library is equipped with all the latest books and also with those required for subjects. overall the library is very nice. classrooms are very spacious with can afford max students of 60. Each classroom contains a projector and a CCTV.

Accommodation for boys and girls are provided separately with all modern amenities. Students are requested to book their preferred choice of location. facilities:- high speed wifi connectivity, laundry facility, 24 hrs power backup, provision for RO water, CCTV cameras, semi furnished rooms, fresh and nutritious food.
