Remarks

I applied for the MIET Jammu but it doesn't provide good placements to the students and that's why I converted to TBS as it has a great placement record. I haven't availed any quota for taking admission here. To take admission here, you need to behave minimum of 50% marks in your graduation and need to pass out the entrance test taken by them every year named "JUET".

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I wanted to make my career in the marketing field. The faculty members of TBS are very highly qualified, supportive, and have years of experience in giving quality education to the students. The term exams conduct on the time and are easy to pass out.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Comapnies such as Hdfc, ICICI, Unilever, ITC, Yes bank, etc. visits the campus every year to give internships to the students and usually give a role related to sales to the interns and provides them a stipend of 5000 per month.

Placement Experience

After the ending of the 2nd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies such as Hdfc, ICICI, ITC, Unilever, etc. visit the university for giving job offers to the students and usually they offers a salary of 3 lakh- 7lakh. From my batch there were 70% of placements provided to the students by university campus cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the matter of fee structure, TBS is one of the affordable and reasonable universities in Jammu as for 1 year it will only charge you 55000. Scholarship schemes are only available for the economically weaker students who can't afford the full college expenses.

Campus Life

Youthruva is the annual fest that used to be conducted during my MBA programme in which the students from the different colleges and universities come and take participate in it. The department has its own library in which the books are available with the latest edition. Sports day use to be celebrated in the university every year. ABVP was the social group run by the students. The campus life of TBS is just great.

Review about the The Business School, University of Jammu

Likes

The course is very much affordable as comparison to the other colleges providing the MBA
The Campus environment is very much eco friendly
Well qualified staff that too very much experienced

Dislikes

Small batch size the total size of the batch is almost 60 -65 students
Self finance seat costs almost 3 lakh rupees in addition to the course fee
There is much provision for the reservations

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements from 3rd semester itself. The companies that provide placement in the department are ICICI BANK, AMAZON , ITC, BIRLA OPUS, HDFC BANK and many other . The ICICI Bank offers the highest package i.e. almost 10 lakh .

Being consistent is more important than being motivated

Likes

The library of the college is good I mean you will get every type of book.
Park is very neat and clean and is maintained very well.
Infrastructure is too good neat and clean.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not too good I mean very few students gets accomodation
All the faculties are not too supportive to students.
Campus placement percentage is very less (8%)

I choose the course because I was working in a private company as a team leader where I feel still need to learn more management skills to enhance my career at a better place.the faculty of the college is moderate.the semister exams are conducted very timely.

Golden Days of College

Likes

Flexibility of availing library facility when required
Campus is good and needs to be upgraded more.

Dislikes

Even these days where technology is advance, faculties are working as per old module
Campus should be renovated and new technology should be introduced

I wanted to to Bca as i was into softwares and my interest has always been into technology. 40 students over a faculty Most of the Faculties were PHD and well educated and their teaching method was above par It was never on time and it wasn't much difficult to pass exams

Placement Experience:

Last semester students become eligible for campus placement in the central university of Jammu.Companies visited Aditya Birla group job profile- Talent Acquisition HR, BYJU'S - Human Resource Manager, Innvalous Technology - Inside sales marketing /etc, Highest placement package offered 10 LPA CTC. 50 % of students get placed from the central university of Jammu with a good package. My plan is to start my own business in the field of marketing.

My Experience In TBS (MBA)

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for the campus placements and students starts getting job offers from various companies such as Pepsi, Hdfc, Axis, Unilever, etc. with a starting package of 4lakh-6lakh per annum. Almost 80% of the students every year gets the campus placements.

My MBA Life at TBS

Placement Experience:

As mentioned earlier, TBS has strong industry collaborations with various elite corporate entities visiting here to offer campus placements to students. The students become eligible to sit for campus placements in Semester Third only. A good number of students receive placement offers making TBS the first choice of students who want to pursue an MBA in Jammu.

Remarks:

I chose this college as I liked the campus because where it is located that is known as the heaven of India. As we know Jammu & Kashmir's climate is very awesome and the college is near to the city, the airport and they offer the best foreign exchange program that helps in studying abroad.

My Experience In TBS (MBA)

I didn't applied for any other college because TBS is one of the reputed university across India and also only 4 kms away from my home that's why I took admission here. I didn't avail any quota for taking admission to inTBS. I applied for the SMVDU earlier, but due to the high fee structure there in comparison of TBS, I switched to TBS. I didn't avail any quota for taking admission here. Based on my MAT score which was good enough to land me offers from various renowned B-Schools (mostly private), I applied only for The Business School, Jammu University. The reasons being : It has a legacy of creating world-class management professionals and an institute that offers NBA and NAAC accredited MBA courses. Being a government Institute, it offers one of the best Return on Investment(ROI) values in North India with a nominal fee structure that even a student belonging to a middle-class family can afford. Mba in jammu university

Earlier I applied for the IMS but the location of the college doesn't suit me at all so I dropped the IMS JAMMU. No quota was availed by me to take admission in TBS JAMMU.
