Its Magic

The admission was based on the BITSAT exam where a score of 320/450 was needed for E.E.E. There were several rounds of counselling and the cutoff was subsequently decided. The admission was based on a preference list to be filled by the student. The exam provided admission opportunities in 3 campuses of BITS Pilani- Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

The reason for choosing E.E.E. at BITS Pilani was the zero percent attendance policy. The faculty student ratio was 20:1. The faculty comprised of highly qualified professors with the method of teaching focused more on practicals than just theory. There were 2 major exams in a semester apart from biweekly quizzes. The exams were pretty difficult to pass.

The college provides 2 internships to every student. It follows a Practice School system as a part of which everyone does 2 internships in premier companies. The first internship is 2 month long engagement and 2nd is a 6 month long engagement.

Students become eligible for placements after 3rd year. The placements are pretty good with median packages lying around 11 LPA. The percentage of students placed is more than 95 %. I got a job on campus and plan to pursue that.

The tuition fees see a hike of 5-10 % every year. The average cost of studying would come around 22 lakhs including personal expenses. The college provides great job opportunities and also a lot of scholarships.

Annual cultural fest- Waves Tech fest- Quark. The library and classrooms are very well equipped. The abundance of sports facilities ranging from BCCI approved cricket ground, Football Ground, tennis, squash etc The college has more than 30 clubs and departments run by students in the field of robotics, finance, marketing etc.

The hostel facilities are very basic. Students are provided single or twin sharing rooms. The meal is pretty good given the rate and the eateries on campus are also very affordable. The hostel is mandatory for every outside the state.
