A good experience in SVCE

The admission process is very simple and my my admission happened in one day. I did'nt apply for any kind of quota im genereal. i've joined through management quota so there was no marks criteria provided you should have passed all subjects in 2nd puc

I have opted for Information science and technology(ISE). for my particular branch the faculties are few, In our branch there are only 7 faculties currently. Most of them are freshers who have engineering backgrounds. The teaching is good but some faculty teachings are below average. Since it's vtu the examination experience will be always different from the previous semester we can't predict how the paper might come.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for campus drive. The top companies that visited our colleges are Quinox, TCS, Infosys Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package was 13 LPA and the average package is 3.5 LPA. There are about 40% of the students getting placed every year. I didn't get placed in the campus drive have to look for jobs outside. The college does not provide 100% placement The placement also need a lot of improvement.

The fees are according to the CET quota. As far as I have heard the scholarship will be mostly given to the reserved caste quota and for others very few get scholarships it's very difficult for them to get the scholarship.

The fest in this college is below average as there is no much scope for sports and cultural fests. Our college fests are held 2 years once and which includes a lot of mismanagement and the organization is the worst. The college will also not spend more money on the fest. The library is filled with lots of old books and it does not contain any new books that need a lot of improvement in the library. Amenities and infrastructure are good in the classroom.
