Remarks

MIET comes under Jammu university. For admission, you must be a graduate and have scored good percentiles in CAT or MAT. I have not availed of any sort of quota. I got admission there because I couldn't make it to The business school, Jammu university.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Miet follows a curriculum duly approved by Jammu University. I did my bachelor's in marketing and I further wanted to brush up my marketing skills and even learn new one that why I opted for this course only. The faculty of MIET is good and they have years of experience as well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Yes, they do provide internships and it's mandatory for every student to do a summer internship of 2 months so that they get industry exposure and learn new things as well. I did my internship at HDFC bank Chandigarh and my stipend was Rs. 5000

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like WIPRO, ITC, ICICI PRUDENTIAL, ICICI BANK , HDFC BANK etc visit our campus. The maximum package they offer was of Rs. 12 lakh and minimum package was of Rs. 4.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Jammu University is a government recognised university where as MIET is a private college and the fee structure is slightly on higher end as compared to The business school. It will cost you around Rs 2 lakh to study MBA.

Campus Life

4

The campus life in MIET is great. Every year they conduct an annual fest " Sammilan " where they celebrate youth and students can showcase their talent as well. It also has well-maintained libraries, labs, etc. The classrooms are also in good condition.

Interview Experience

4

All my GD and interview, they all held at Jammu University. The topic of my GD was related to cryptocurrencies. After my GD, I went for my interview. The interview was all about why I want to do MBA, where I see myself in the future.. I mean they asked some very basic questions.
