Entrance exam: MHT - CET. Score: 151/200. TSEC: Excellent balance of academics and extra-curricular. Great location, situated at the heart of city Mumbai in Bandra; so less travelling involved. Great placements as big companies visit campus and offer great placements to students. Teachers are very approachable and are experts in their respective field. Sometimes go out of their way to guide and assist you.

The course structure is pretty rigorous. It is spanned over 8 semesters, two each semester. Annually there are projects involved and in the final year one has to submit a group project consisting of two additional members guided by a professor. The first and the last two semesters are conducted by the university itself and the remaining by college.

TSEC is known for events. Every week or so there some or the other small events happening inside college. Sports fest is conducted annually and an entire gymkhana is booked for that. Annual cultural fest TRIFLES is celebrated at an enormous level with more than 30 colleges participate. Many celebrities from Bollywood and music industry are welcomed and the festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm.

The college does roll out scholarship but u need to be a stand out to bag those. Since the college being a Sindhi minority , Sindhis are offered scholarship in great deal. Major one being the JRD Tata scholarship.

No hostel facility offered. Though the canteen is not fully equipped the college is blessed with an ideal location. Bandra begin the most happening place in mumbai is filled with many food joints. 5 mins from college u can find a variety of food stalls and restaurants to choose.

The admission process is handles by University of Mumbai. The entire application is online. After entering the details, the form has to be submitted. Multiple rounds are conducted and the seat is allocated on merit base. After getting the seat for the course, one has to submit original documents and a demand draft of the respective college.

The faculty is well versed with their respective subjects. Many of them are Phd's so they are experts in their respective domain. The faculty is pretty much approachable and sometimes go out of the way to help students in need. They assist you in subjects, projects and also guide in publishing any technical publications.
